PS3 Upgrade:

If you know a little something about the PS3. You know that is runs quite hot after an hour of usage. Furthermore, if you know anything about heat, you know that the console suffers from chronic overheating issues, known as the Yellow Light of Death.

This Upgrade (Available to all PS3 Repair Orders, not available for PS3 Slims)

1. Removal of old power supply.

2. Installation of more efficient and cooler APS-226 PSU.

3. If your console already has a APS-226 installed, we will not bill you and leave it as-is.

Recommended for those who understand the additional benefits of an APS-226 PSU. Will help increase the efficiency of the cooling system of your console, and increase the life by reducing the thermal buildup within your console.

Bundling Upgrade Options:

Simply add these upgrades to your repair order for your PlayStation 3 console. Theses upgrades must be bundled with this or another PS3 Repair. When you add a upgrade below to your repair order listed below, you will qualify for the same UPS return shipping rates.

Q. How much will my Sony PS3 upgrade cost?

Our services are dependent on what is diagnosed with your PS3. If your console is already in our shop for repair, the APS-226 upgrade is only $24.99. If you have multiple issues wrong with your console, your price may vary.

If you want to send in your console in just for a PSU upgrade, please contact-us for pricing.

We are not selling APS-226 power supplies for $24.99. This is an upgrade for your existing repair order.
