Minneapolis Store Update

Friends,

After 15 incredible years of serving the Twin Cities, our Minneapolis retail store will be closing permanently on September 30, 2025.

This change is part of a larger shift in our business. As Gophermods grows to support more school districts and small businesses, we’ll be transitioning away from individual consumer services and focusing entirely on business and education partnerships moving forward.

Although our retail doors are closing, we remain committed to honoring our warranty and coverage obligations for existing clients.

What This Means for You

Store Hours

• Our Minneapolis store remains open through September 30, 2025, including Saturdays in September for added convenience.

Warranties & GopherCare

• All one-year repair and device warranties will be honored.
• All valid GopherCare plans purchased before 9/30/2025 will be honored.

All warranties can still be serviced in-store until 9/30, and by appointment only at our New Brighton warehouse after 10/1/2025. *Information regarding this process will be sent out at a later date.*

Starting October 1, we will no longer accept:

• New repair requests
• Out-of-warranty or walk-in repairs
• Lifetime Screen Protectors Replacements
  • Replacements will be honored in-store through 9/30 only. No new lifetime plans will be sold.

What If I Have a Repair in Progress?

• All repairs brought in before September 30 will be completed at our Minneapolis retail location.
• We will coordinate with you directly if any follow-up or warranty service is needed beyond that date.
