iPhone 13 Series Repair

iPhone 13 Series Repair Services by Gophermods

Apple announced the iPhone 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 Mini in 2021. The iPhone 13 may not look all that new — other than the new camera lens layout — it as an incremental upgrade over the previous generation.

The new model’s screen is brighter than its predecessor’s. The battery lasts longer too. Apple has improved an already great camera with new sensors and computational photography features that make you feel like a pro.

The A15 Bionic powering the iPhone 13 is faster than every chip out there. And it’s not just about how fast it is. The chip lets you do things you couldn’t do before, like add depth of field to your videos while automatically shifting focus, and change the way your pictures look with Photographic Styles.

The iPhone 13 base models now include 128GB of storage (up from 64GB on the iPhone 12), which goes up to 256GB or 512GB. If you’re considering upgrading your device, you can also sell your iPhone to us.

Screen Repair Costs & Other Repairs

Unlike earlier iPhone models, as of 2022, screen repairs do not vary drastically on the models due to supply-chain shortages. All iPhone 13 models now feature a OLED display. Unlike generations before the 12 series, iPhones had a mix of OLED and LCD displays (and less expensive to replace). We do expect these prices to fall in the near future as more factories switch to OLED display production.

Side-by-side, the differences between the two screens (LCD vs OLED) are sometimes hard to notice; however, the cost to manufacture an OLED is significantly more than the LCD. As a result, that is the top reason why the 13 models are more expensive to replace the screen than previous generation iPhones.

Getting Started

No Appointment Necessary

On average, most iPhone repairs are finished within one to two hours of drop-off at any one of our stores.

No appointment is required for service but we do recommend you call ahead to check for turnaround times and parts availability.

iPhone screens, batteries and docking ports are always routinely stocked.

Warranty

Warranty Coverage:

The one year warranty covers any defects with the part replaced. This warranty is exclusive to only the parts serviced and replaced.

In the event your part serviced is damaged again, the standard one year warranty coverage is void.

Physical Damages:

Incidental damages are not covered under our warranty policy. In the event your device is broken again, the standard one-year warranty coverage is void.

Protection

Screen Protectors: $19 for Life

Having a good case on your iPhone or iPad is the best way to keep it safe. An excellent alternative is a tempered glass cover to sit on top of your screen. Our tempered glass is “unlimited”. If the tempered glass ever breaks or falls off, we’ll replace it at no charge.

…That’s Minnesota Nice for saying, we’re pretty good.

We’re ready for your questions.

We’ve been doing this a while, here are the most common questions

Yes. We’ve had tens of thousands of broken iPhones, iPads, and Samsung phones brought into Gophermods since 2009. I would guess 98% of the devices brought into our stores are repaired. We’ve seen so many devices you don’t have to worry if we haven’t seen it before.

Yes, if you purchased the parts through Apple’s self-repair program and (1) you don’t want to rent the tools from Apple, or (2) attempt the DIY repair. We will perform the repair for just our labor fee of $59.

No we do not, the only place you can redeem AppleCare is Apple. If you are not sure whether you have AppleCare coverage, there are a few ways you can find that information. Here is how you can check your AppleCare coverage status.

We prefer it, but it is not required. We need to test out the device to make sure our repair was successful. We run diagnostics on your device both before and after the repair to make sure it is still running in tip-top shape. If you do not wish to provide the passcode (and we understand the desire to preserve your privacy) we will not be able to guarantee a turnaround time as we will not have had the ability to test our work post-repair. All staff signs a customer data privacy policy before working on customer devices, any staff found to violate this policy is immediately terminated.

Pretty simple, we break it we bought it. If our parts fail within one year, bring it back, and we’ll fix it again under warranty. We’ve been doing this almost ten years, and have hundreds of positive feedback and reviews.

In the event we cannot fix your device, there may be a $19 to $29 diagnostic fee.
